Comadres Program
Mother-to-Mother Education and Support; A team of fully trained doulas (birth assistants) provide prenatal and postpartum education and support through home visiting and community education.

Home Visiting Component
Home visiting includes for pregnant women includes individual prenatal education, doula birth accompaniment service, lactation support, postpartum care, referrals for clinical prenatal care, infant safety seat.

Safety Seat Component
The Comadres are also Child Passenger Safety Technicians, and distribute infant/child car seats. They helped to develop the first bilingual CPS Tech training courses in the Midwest, and have organizing the Midwest’s first “Latino Child Passenger Safety Resource Center." They are also certified Child Passenger Safety Instructors and Instructor Trainers.

Community Education
The Comadres conduct group presentations on issues related to prenatal health and nutrition and child health and safety. They have served as instructors for the "Comenzando Bien" intermediate-level training course. The Comadres are trained in the area of asthma prevention and management, and also implement the “Open Airways for Schools Program.

Cancer Prevention and Early De
The Cancer Prevention and Early detection is a sub-program of Multipliers. This component focuses to provide information about Cervical and Breast Cancer, also Prostate Cancer.
Through Group presentations and formal events of 40 participants we have reach over 1000 women each year, who received information how to prevent and detect on the early stage any type of cancer; specially, breast and cervical cancer..

HIV/ AIDS Prevention Program
Health promoters reach individuals and families in their homes with AIDS preention education, with condoms, with ideas for reducing risk, and by giving referrals for services. They also present information at community forums, workshops, health fairs, and other events.

Health Promoters also build community capacity by training new health promoters in AIDS prevention, with new groups each year onsite and at other community organizations.
